Jeff Frandsen, M.D.
Dr. Jeff Frandsen is an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in adult reconstruction, specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques for hip and knee replacements, as well as complex reconstructions. He was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. His academic career began at Utah State University, where he graduated summa cum laude with his undergraduate degree in Biology. His passion for medicine led him to the University of Nebraska for medical school, where he excelled in his studies and graduated with honors.
After completing medical school, Dr. Frandsen pursued further specialization through an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Utah. There, he honed his surgical skills and developed a deep understanding of orthopedic techniques and procedures. Through his numerous
interactions with patients of all backgrounds and medical histories, he has developed a deep compassion for his patients and their families. He cultivates trust and clear communication with families and patients, prioritizing their concerns and communicating openly.

Driven by a commitment to advancing his knowledge and skills, Dr. Frandsen sought additional training through an adult reconstruction fellowship at the OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, NC. Under the mentorship of leading experts in the field, he gained invaluable
experience in advanced surgical techniques for minimally invasive primary hip and knee replacements as well as complex reconstructions of the hip and knee joints.
He focuses on challenging cases involving complex reconstructions following infection, fracture, and complications from prior surgeries. His dedication to his patients’ well-being and his commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional care and achieving outstanding surgical outcomes.
